Chelsea Cole is a cookbook author and food blogger from Portland, Oregon. Her culinary journey began with her food blog, A Duck's Oven, a project started during her time as a student at the University of Oregon. Initially focused on helping students navigate the kitchen, Chelsea's passion for cooking has since expanded to embrace a broader audience, with a particular emphasis on sous vide and pop culture. Chelsea has authored two cookbooks, Everyday Sous Vide and Sous Vide Meal Prep, showcasing her love for demystifying complex cooking techniques for home cooks. Now embracing her love of millennial pop culture, Chelsea's current work aims to bring fantastical dishes from the pages of popular series, TV shows, and movies to the tables of fans everywhere.
Alongside her professional pursuits, Chelsea is usually spending her time with her two young children and husband. Whether she's exploring Portland's culinary scene, camping, in the sidelines at a soccer match, or learning how to make cheese, Chelsea is on a mission to inspire others to get in the kitchen and try something new.
The original mission was to help college students branch out from boxed mac & cheese and frozen pizza.
